Gantry shear machine operation

The operating procedures of the gantry shearing machine mainly include three steps: cutting workpiece requirements, worker operation process, and storage of steel plate scraps. The specific operations are as follows:

1. Requirements for cutting workpieces: The thickness of the cutting steel plate must not exceed the performance of the gantry shear, and the workpiece must be compacted during cutting. When cutting narrow steel plates, if the vertical pressure device in front of the gantry shear cannot press it, an additional steel plate should be pressed on the cut steel plate to firmly press the vertical pressure device when it falls, in order to prevent the cut steel plate from tilting and damaging the machine tool during cutting.

2. Worker operation process: The personnel operating the switch must wait for the line operator to give a cut-off signal before driving. When feeding, they must wait for the scissors to stop before feeding.

3. Storage of steel plate leftover materials: The cut steel plate should be transported away at any time, and the leftover materials at the edges and corners should be placed in a designated place.
